The kittens are almost three weeks old and already toddling around their nest. This upcoming week to two weeks, they will begin to explore more, learn about the litter box, water dish, and soft kibble as well as learning to toddle around a little more and discover toys!

Dottie all rolly polly and sweet. See her little spot on her back left foot? A little dot of seal on her sock, hence her nickname for now being Dottie!

Precious and Finnie had two beautiful babies the morning of August 11, 2009. Both are big happy fat girls!

Momma Precious She is a loving and happy mom, purring and kneading little “air biscuits” with her feet, and posing cute for the camera. She adores her kittens!

08/27/09: The kittens are  now almost a month old and are already using the litter tray, drinking water and of course mom’s milk, and trying out kibble and canned snacks. They are playing with ball toys and string toys and are a complete joy! They have leared to run and chase and play wrestling games and climb all over me as their little jungle gym. They are getting a beautiful coat in already that is as wonderful as their moms and so soft, and snuggly. They still love their belly rubs but also love to wrestle with their little kittens sized stuffed animal as part of their play, so they dont wrestle with fingers. They are so cute at this age, discovering so many new things that it is a delight! Sally is quite the adventurer, loving to sit on my shoulder often, while Dotty loves tunnels and playing with my shoe strings and playing peek a boo with me!

09/20/09 Sally and Dotty and their momma Precious met the kitten’s new forever family in September! It was love at first sight! They came out into our bedroom from their nursery and played with everyone and explored and were much fun-enjoyed their new family members! They will be a fantastic addition to the Holle family home where we know they will be loved and adored as much as we love them here at Angelight!

Photos of the kittens enjoying a new feather toy!
Both kitties sleep at the foot of our bed with Mom Precious at night and cuddle up for nap time with me in the afternoon. They are litter box, scratching post and cardboard scratcher trained, eating solid foods and will soon have their first booster shots. Both are sweet girls and we adore them. They will be ready to go to their foever home with the Leslie H. family in mid November!
